Endocrine means ‘secreting internally’. We have experience of both endoscopic (minimally invasive) surgeries and open endocrine surgeries, a very rare combination. Miniaturization of surgical instruments and new (better than laser) forms of energy to cut and seal has made surgery possible through tiny holes. Tiny holes instead of big cuts leads to a dramatic reduction in pain, disability, scars, and complications like wound infection and Incisional hernia after surgery.
